Everybody complaining about Wembys minutes but my man been putting up like 40 and 15 in 25 minutes lately… what’s he gonna do with more? Honestly it’s such a toss up between OKC/Denver/Spurs. Almost all of the matchups between the three weren’t really at full strength. All three have been amazing since the break. Wish the Spurs would have taken last night a little more seriously.
I looked it up and it’s six months. So since his deadline is in October, it would be April so essentially after next season’s playoffs end
Yeah no way he signs it then lol. He has generational wealth. If he is as done with the bucks and if he wants to win as badly as he seems he wont sign it just to lose another year of being able to compete to go through all of this all over again.

My concern with Wemby is if he CAN go 35 minutes per game and do so every other night in a playoff atmosphere. I think that’s a big jump. There is already the usual/expected growing pains for a player’s/team’s first time playoff experience. Now you’re simultaneously increasing his minutes by 10 mins per game (assuming he does). It’ll just be interesting how he handles it.
Not likely… but nobody on the spurs plays a ton of minutes and they’ve been rolling through everyone. What if that continues?
I suppose it’s possible. It just feels unprecedented. Teams typically shrink their rotation and minutes go up for the core players. Doesn’t mean its the only way but I’d imagine you need your best players our there as much as possible when the caliber of competition goes way up.
I think he’ll be fine, I’m worried about the other young guys meeting the moment if I’m the Spurs. they could win it all, really bad sign for the league if Wemby wins a championship this early
Yeah the shooting has started dropping big time again. They were slumping then picked it up but it’s dropping at the wrong time

As much as I want to defend the stupid minutes argument… at the same time I look at him like a fragile baby giraffe every time he jumps or someone dives into his knees.
