  1. He’s not worth what he’s paid and I hope they trade him still but he’s been a great teammate and team player amongst all the turmoil this season

we don't know he's a great teammate lol, i dont think we need to revisionist history the kyle kuzma bucks era just because ti windisch tweeted about him. just let this miserable season end.

  3. The coaching staff's message was meant to be a rallying cry. It was also meant to empower Rollins and Porter to play as leaders, according to team sources. The messages did not seem to be getting through, and the team felt splintered in the postgame locker room, however, and that led to a players-only meeting.

The players made points to each other and called out one another to try to overcome their rut. Multiple sources said Kuzma told teammates, specifically Rollins and Porter, that they can't take what was said to heart, not to worry about the coaches and to be their best selves moving forward. Coaches learned of Kuzma's message over the next 24 hours, and Kuzma did not play in the following game against the Celtics.”

seems like a good teammate to me! Regardless you’re right who fucking cares please trade Giannis and fire the entire front office and Doc into the sun

They should keep doc. Hard to replace an NBA Hall-of-Famer.

If it helps, that post was primarily making fun of the fact that he's gonna be in the hall-of-fame, a comical addition that degrades the meaning of the hall and lessens the achievement of others in there.

unfortunately theres probably people already in the hall way less deserving than doc. the nba hall is an absolute joke.

  10. There’s gotta be some random Celtics players from the Bill Russell era that have a ton of titles that got inducted based off of vibes while being a janitor

Lol the Celtics retiring so many jerseys has 100% cost them a free agent acquisition. OJ Mayo was gonna sign but he hated all of the remaining jersey numbers so he chose someone else.

I enjoy the idea of Doc directing people to look at his resume in a meeting. "Hey, I know we're awful, but look at how I took an incredibly lucky situation in Boston and used it to convince people I'm a good coach for the next decade plus!"

Why can’t they just do a ring of honor instead of retiring the jersey like in football. Hell the spurs went from 3 to like 10 or 11 in the last 20 years. And LaMarcus Aldridge even wore a retired number while it was retired

It's funny he does that too because I think most people look at that and say they underachieved.

Danny Ainge cost them 1 ring, KG got hurt and cost them another and it just was a wrap from there. But they all prance around like they're the showtime lakers lol.

I am of the belief that most of the Celtics retired jerseys should be unretired and moved to a ring of honor like thing. And that very few should remain retired. Mainly Bird, Russell, Pierce, and a couple others. As it stands now, they have 23 numbers retired. That's insane.

  17. Zach Lowe: “Giannis has misplayed this so completely. He is waging a press war that never would have been necessary if he simply a) did nothing or b) plainly requested a trade a year ago” THANK YOU

It's also still not necessary. He can just not...and still request a trade this offseason. Not like whining now does anything lol

  19. By all accounts the relationship has soured so much that I don’t think he will need to request a trade, the team will trade him regardlsss
