I don’t even fully believe that Giannis wanted out or was debating if he wanted out etc…but I do know that if he was/is, Myles Turner and 22m dead cap for 5 years wouldn’t be a needle mover for me lol and if it is for Giannis, good for the Bucks. He’s easy to please.

Yeah Dame gets paid and gets to sign elsewhere when he was pretty obviously never comfortable in Milwaukee. Obviously some desperation from Milwaukee but they were straight up out of moves and this keeps them plenty competitive in a barren eastern conference. Love it for them, all things considered

For the next two years they’re basically paying Turner $40m if you include the Lillard dead money, which is an overpay but not far off from what he would’ve signed for somewhere else before the second apron era. It’ll kill them in the third year but by then Giannis is older and the east is better and they have some picks to look forward to and they can trade everyone and tank their lil hearts out
