It’s column a column b. The front office since the jrue trade has made a series of moves where each asset we’ve gotten is worse than what we’ve given up. But we’ve also been making them year after year bc giannis constantly gives these bitchy quotes pressuring the front office to do something. What are they able to do, man? He wants to leave but he also still wants to maintain the good guy image and not put in a trade request. Guess what man, that’s what everyone has to do. He has to make a choice instead of continuing to toe one foot in one foot out.
I am not mad at giannis - it’s an annoying situation and it’s annoying he won’t just straight up ask for a trade or on the flip side be patient and see what develops
I’m also not trying to be a dick or point fingers but this is part of this culture with the league of being fans of players vs. teams. I’ve been a fan of the bucks before giannis and I’ll be one after. I have no attachment to him, if he wants to leave, he can. He just needs to be an adult about it.
Is someone makes the move at the deadline, they’ll have to be fine being a little stinky until he comes back from the calf injury. It’s smarter for the Bucks to wait until the summer though.
