I agree but Daryl is Daryl and I wouldn’t be surprised if he does something dumb long term for the ticket and jersey sales. Plus they would be legit contenders for this season at the very least.
Pretty sure the Sixers' only deadline moves will be converting Barlow and Walker, plus waiving Eric Gordon. The team is pretty fun -- I don't need much more than that right now. No idea what they are going to do with McCain, though. His struggles this year are very real, but I do think he just needs more time.
It's hard to say at this point if the players aren't a great fit because they just aren't, or because of the (lack of) a system. No one boxes out, and their screening is some of the worst I've ever seen. The ball handler either rejects the screen entirely, or they use it but it's so weak that the defense can fight through without needing to switch. Once per game someone off the ball will make a good cut and score, but then it never happens again. I wouldn't be mad if they dumped Mosley, but I’m also not sure he's the only problem. The roster has talented players, but they're not being put in good positions to succeed.
Detroit is fun but I think they’ll be too one dimensional in the playoffs if this is the team they are by the end of the season
Of course not but also is there another team you trust more in the east? It’s wide open for sure but Boston arguably has the best coach in the conference (top 3 at least) and they might get Tatum back
We should be talking about the Nugs being over .500 without Jokic and 3rd in the West with basically only Murray being the constant guy in the starting lineup and MIP PEYTON WATSON
I'm just glad Cooper is better than advertised. Just wish we weren't being held hostage by Street Clothes Davis. I think I saw that Rich Paul has requested they trade him, and they're talking about having Kyrie just sit until next season.
I have such a soft spot for Detroit teams. Just such a complete zero area for sports for so long I just want someone other than the Red Wings to figure it out
I agree but apparently the bucks have no interest in firing Doc Rivers even tho two years ago they fired a coach (admittedly a bad one) with a 30-13 record
