pretty sure it dates back to rookie of the year stuff and people talking for the year prior about chet being this massive unicorn type guy but then he misses a year and wemby comes the next year and is the more insane version

 

It’s just his competitive nature. He likes to throw a lot of shade and doesn’t like to be compared to anyone. Has said he’s not a fan of the friendly era of the NBA and wants to be more like the stars of the 90s/2000s.
