i wouldn't say the warriors or blazers are dregs of the league though they aren't good and philly is actually good but okay sure
the spurs losses back to back are def worrisome for the playoffs but ultimately they're still a team with six losses that is bullying tons of teams. they aren't the bucks. they're still very good.
I'm not disputing they have a good record or saying they're total ass overall. I'm just saying that over the past 15? games give or take, they just look really unlike themselves. Can't really hit shit consistently and their defense is poor (for them). It's just worrisome at the moment until they get it figured out. maybe they'll be stronger for it later. fingers crossed. but otherwise it's a frustrating watch.
I'm too used to my teams turning into pumpkins and it makes me paranoid and frustrated. A couple games blip is one thing, but several weeks is a worrying trend. like 2024 Orioles. had a good first half and then just completely forgot how to play the game of baseball and every game was misery. then swept out of the playoffs they had no right being in anyway.
the 3's inconsistency is a real ongoing problem. Teams can just plug the paint and trust that everyone not named SGA will just miss their shots from the outside. it's like 55% vs 25%. like christ.
Sixers are still really struggling against the very shorthanded Nuggets. Nuggets are getting screwed a bit by the officials right now, too.
I feel you about that 3’s thing. It’s like every team just shoots 100% from 3 and sometimes the spurs match it but sometimes they don’t. Only team that hasn’t so far has been OKC coincidentally but I fully expect like a 40 pt loss coming at some point
We really need to acquire a starting center - preferably one who can play defense. Kalkbrenner is going to be a solid player but we need someone who can come in and do the job now. I know he’s mentioned in the second lineup example, but please trade Bridges and stuff in effort to get said big man.
