Dude plays his butt off on defense and has good IQ, he’s a bit of a streaky shooter though, there’s games he goes off for 20 or so off the bench but the next night is doing cardio. Not a bad bench piece who can step into a starter role time to time if needed

I think it’s because Miami was going to waive him if he picked it up. After the Davion deal, his option would have put them over the tax and I think they want to stay under it for next year. Sounds like he prefers to stay but will leave if they can’t agree on a deal.
