Poor Franz. Really took the wind out of my sails. Entire team and fans honestly. Hope its not a season ender, but realistically I dont see him coming back until after AS break. Hurts our Cup chances and was looking forward to it this year. Orlando can never catch a break with having a full healthy line up. Hopefully Bane can step it up again. I was laughing a bit yesterday at that beaming on OG. Uncalled for yes, but they both didnt take it too seriously. Gotta piss off the garden somehow, theyve taken out our two all stars each trip this year.
The part that bums me out the most is the timing. He’s most likely going to miss the ASG again, and even though the event is silly, you know it means a lot to players to be selected.
plus the Europe trip next month where he would be the highlight to the crowd and it would mean so much to him. Would even imagine Mo back by then. The two brothers would be kings there.
Franz has a high ankle sprain, and should be back in 2-4 weeks. So, like 6 weeks given how cautious Orlando's medical staff is. Honestly not horrible considering how bad it looked.
Anyone excited for the knock out cup games to start tonight? I was, until Fran went out. Bummer too considering we went 4-0 in the qualifiers. Still gotta believe though. Love the 6pm start time.
Same here. Assuming Paolo is still on a minutes restriction, I foresee a lot of shots coming from the guards. I'd like to see them continue to give Jase some time, especially with AB. The tip time is wild, but it gives me an excuse to leave work early.
I was going to complain about the 6pm start because I normally don’t leave work until then but I forgot this game was on my day off lol
I am lucky enough to be a remote employee so I can be done with dinner, showered, and on the couch for 6pm. And in bed before 9pm thanks to the early start. LOL
I think both Jalen Johnson and the Pelicans pick are off the table from Atlanta in any Giannis offer. Maybe they would've been available this summet, but now Johnson has been too good, and New Orleans too bad. Giannis is obviously really good, but he's also 31 with an injury history and a game that's far from plug and play. I'm not sure that's worth mortgaging your future for, especially when it's gonna be tough to beat OKC for the next few years anyway. They're obviously gonna get offers, but I think they waited too long if they really want to move him.
Idk even with Giannis’ age and injury history there’s only like 3 or 4 untouchables in the league imo (Jokic, SGA, Wemby, Flagg)
Jalen is probably """""off the table"""" in that they'll waffle for like 5 days and eventually include him lol the NOLA pick is immediately included be serious and be well
I'm surprised more teams haven't stopped using them after Luka voiced his dislike. They're basically a giant decal.
