Holy shit, Sixers. Totally blew that one. And then stole it right back. (And then almost blew it one more time.)
to put it the way the band of horses did, feels like the end for giannis and milwaukee isn't near, it's here
I think it’s so complicated - there are only 4 teams who can offer a package the Bucks would take - Houston, San Antonio, Atlanta, and OKC and you can rule out OKC. Atlanta can offer Johnson and/or the 26 NOP pick (a must in any giannis trade) or that pick the 27 pick and a combo of Risacher, Porzingas/Trae and someone else (dream would be JJ and the 26th pick) - San Antonio can offer the combo of Harper/Castle and some future picks/swap and the Rockets can offer Senguin/Amen and those PHO/BKN picks. Gotta get a pick that is lottery bound for the 2026 draft with how loaded it is - with how bad the Pelicans are if you get that pick from Atlanta the bucks could have two top 10 picks in a loaded draft. the other thing is teams may be a little gun shy because Giannis has had two soft tissue injuries already this season and has been injured in 4 of the last 6 postseasons New York and LA have nothing good for the bucks - can’t just get dudes like KAT and get some future picks or swaps because those are so down the line and the Bucks only have control of their pick in 26 and not the next 2-3 seasons so they still need to be some what competitive finally Giannis is the greatest buck ever - the next time the Bucks have a player of his caliber everyone in this thread will be dead or close to it. If they play well over these next two to four weeks I can see him still being bought in for this season but big picture is you can’t just trade him cuz he wants it - the bucks need to be cold blooded and try to win this trade as much as possible. I don’t think he will be traded this season unless one of those three aforementioned teams offer those deals - it’s more likely he is dealt in the offseason
