Rough game from Miami offensively, only shooting 40/30. Wiggins and Jaquez in particular had down nights. Dallas is a really good defensive team for sure though. I hope Spo plays starts playing Ware more soon, his playing time has seen a decent drop since Bam has been back. I think he has shied away from playing them a lot together because Jovic has not been playing well, he wants one of them on the floor at all times. Hopefully they look into adding another big.
Orlando looked like a shell of themselves for so much of the game. The Spurs zone worked so well, and the Magic just didn't adjust well. Anthony Black has been so instrumental in their recent success, but he looked so tentative last night. Lots of picking his dribble up quick and looking to pass instead of getting downhill. He is still only 21, so there will be inconsistent play. On the plus side Jase Richardson had some really good moments when he got in late. Hopefully they can learn from what didn't work and apply it.
Watched highlights from the Mavs/Heat game last night and this Mavs team has seemed to figure it out. That defense is really good and shots are starting to land. 7 in double figures, another double double from nemdHARD and AD. More clutch moments from Coop. Exciting stuff to see in an otherwise shitty start to the season.
tough watch last night. Team looked terrible. Tough games coming up with Miami, Knicks, Miami again in cup, then Knicks or Toronto.
If AD can stay healthy, if we can keep getting games like this out of Nembhard, if Kyrie comes back strong, maybe the tank is off lol
