All these players talking about how they don't make as much as we think they do maybe need to consider that they shouldn't buy million dollar houses and multiple cars if they don't actually have the money for it.

 

It’s incredibly jarring to hear players in any sport say after taxes and fees they can’t afford to live. Especially those that are on substantial deals.

If you’re a journeyman g-league player i definitely understand that more but Jesus Christ.

 

CJ has made 280 million dollars. Even if he only retained 10% of that and he got taxed back to the Stone Age, he'd still have earned 28 million fucking dollars. Just stop talking dude.

 

Obviously not confirmation anything is happening imminently in regards to LeBron but apparently Rich Paul canceled his weekly podcast with Max Kellerman today.

 

I always think back to Vince Young buying every seat on a Southwest flight so he could fly all alone, and then eventually declaring bankruptcy.

He LOVES Haliburton and it has been widely discussed this event would be his likely announcement. Why last minute switch the co-host to Hali just to be like “I’m going back to Ohio!”

 

the team that was one Haliburton injury away from winning the NBA title in 2025 adding Lebron James (who is still a very very good player) would be a top 2 team in the East, easily.

 

1. Knicks (respectfully) 2a. Pacers 2b. Sixers 4. Pistons

you're right, it's better cuz they have a better center than that 2025 team

 

I think missing mathurin stinks for them but if Haliburton is healthy at all there is no reason to not project them as better than any non-Knicks east team

 

Also Carlisle feels like one of the few coaches in the league like unanimously respected by the players

 

yup - it does really depend on how well Hali bounces back but basically that 2025 team is upgrading from Mathurin and Turner to Lebron and Zubac haha
