Sixteen back-to-back games for the Sixers, and of those, only two of them are back-to-back in Philly.

This league is absurd.

Going to wait for the inevitable PG and/or Embiid won't be ready for the season announcement to get tickets for the Sixers' all-guard team. I figure the get-in price won't top $10.

There were some rumblings that they were going to release Fontecchio to get the cap savings. He had a higher deadcap that Highsmith so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it.

But they don't really have any other players under contract that they'd want to move that would bring them under that tax line without moving more than one guy and still have room, they have to sign two more players to standard contracts for the roster size requirement I believe.

 

I'm not defending the move at all and I think it's dumb to move a good player to save a billionaire money. That's just where their logic is at, I believe.

Which is also frustrating because they had until the trade deadline to figure it out, this didn't need to be done now.

 

Interesting timing for him to open his mouth and be a complete fucking idiot again. He said dumb shit around the time he was drafted, but was relatively quiet during his Nuggets tenure. Good riddance
