Attendance is not going down. Across the league, almost all teams are averaging better attendance than they were 10 years ago.

TV Ratings aren't really a true reflection of interest in the league either given 75% of America doesn't have cable anymore.

I agree TV ratings aren’t direct indicators of popularity. But how do TV deals increase if less people are watching TV? And it’s not just the money networks give to the league, they’re paying broadcasters ridiculous money as well. It feels like a bubble that will burst.
