I’m listening to Veceni’s latest pod and they were talking about what Nola gave up to go to Queen. Everyone has been focusing on them giving up their own pick next year, unprotected. But they pointed out that the reason they even had pick 23 is because they gave up the Pacers 2026 pick.

So they essentially gave:
2026 top-4 protected pick from Pacers (star player out for season)
2026 unprotected pick that’s best of Pelicans or Bucks (a star player out for the season)

That’s nuts.
