So I was up early this morning and a Table Tennis match was on and it was Adriana Díaz on Team Puerto Rico who is the best female table tennis player in the Americas, and they mentioned that her family couldn't afford to fly her out to different competitions and then Reggaeton legend Daddy Yankee stepped up and started paying for all her expenses as an athlete. I thought that was so cool. Daddy Yankee rules.

Another fun fact: when it came to Barcelona 1992, Lithuania couldn’t afford to field a basketball team following the dissolution of the USSR.
