So I took a risk that Legette, Worthy, Franklin wouldn’t be 3 of the 5 picks in between my picks…But here we are…

 

I think most of those guys you’re referencing didn’t have a great final year at college.

 

I’ve decided Josh lives in Wagoner Oklahoma

 

I will admit Legette wasn’t my top target and I really wanted to trade back up for Kool-Aid McKinstry. Him and Adonai both with a fifth year option in one draft woulda been the best outcome. But if I can’t draft an excellent CB2 to finish the defense then I’m drafting another WR and stacking the offense so it doesn’t matter if we give up 27 points lol

funny cause I told Matt I was also considering Lassiter. And he liked that idea cause Georgia. But what made me go with Legette is realizing Lassiter was ALSO only good for one year. He kinda sucked in 2022, he doesn’t have length or great athleticism like Legette does, he did not intercept the ball in college and only had 8 passes defensed in his best season. I’m actually not sure what aside from Georgia bulldog bias makes him like Lassiter but not like Legette or Rakestraw haha

Lassiter does show me physicality and great technique but Legette just felt like a more premium talent this early in the draft.
