Those last 3 picks were great for Steelers' board. #not

  2. Los Angeles Rams select Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA

Aaron Donald retired. It’s going to take a lot to replace his production. Latu is a start.

    *** Trade ***

The Arizona Cardinals are Steeling pick #20 in exchange for 23 & 104

The Arizona Cardinals select Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa.

The Cardinals snagged WR1 earlier, and now I feel like they're coming away with CB1. A guy who can play inside, outside and help in the run game. So far two dynamic players to help what is a really bad roster.

    Lets Go. Prestigious

Board fell pretty nicely for Miami here. If he was available, I kind of hope they'd pick Verse, but since I already did that in an earlier mock........

With the 21st pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select Byron Murphy, DL, Texas

Miami lost Christian Wilkins to a crazy contract in free agency. Murphy will be able to step right in and play big snap #s right away alongside Zach Sieler. He can hopefully play the Justin Madubiuke role in Anthony Weaver's defense.

Eagles select Terrion Arnold, Cornerback, Alabama

Wish I had thought to move up for Fuaga or DeJean, but I’m happy with Arnold. If you read my reasoning in the last mock draft or have followed Eagles ball at all over the last six months, you’d know why he’d be the pick.

  11. I'd say these are steals but there haven't really been bad picks so maybe this class is just dope af

    The rivalry is back on

the more we mock, the more I strongly prefer a trade down from 15

I assume the top of the Colts’ realistic board is some combo of Quinyon, Terrion, DeJean, AD, and BTJ, and I feel pretty confident that they could still get one of those in the early-to-mid 20s if someone wants to come up and get the last of the elite OTs or Bowers

I think the Eagles dream scenario at 23 is an offensive lineman who can play RG, but can kick out to RT if/when Lane Johnson misses time due to injury, then can eventually replace him when he retires

And I would be cool with that

Steelers select Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State

After the Johnson trade, WR has shot up the Steelers need list. Keon has fantastic hands (something Johnson was not known for), and he’ll be a great pair with Pickens.

  15. what’s your take on the Johnson trade? Why did the Steelers seemingly dump him? He advanced numbers still look good.

he apparently told the team after the season that he wanted to be traded. It wasn’t public, so everyone was surprised. He was entering the last season of his contract, and Pittsburgh usually rotates our WR out by then, so they probably just did the inevitable a year early.

He’s still a great player, for sure.

  17. Fields throwing to Pickens and Keon with Najee in the backfield will be an all-time boom-or-bust offense.

With the 24th pick the Dallas Cowboys select Bo Nix - QB - Oregon.

Contract negotiations with Dak Prescott have not gone well, or gone much at all, and now he has some heavy accusations against him that should at the very least make the Cowboys question their next move. The team that defeated them in the playoffs this year, the Green Bay Packers, were in a similar odd situation and made the gutsy move to draft their future quarterback in Jordan Love and prepare early for a life without Aaron Rodgers. Dallas does the same here, giving them a great prospect to develop further in Bo Nix, who took massive strides the second he set foot in Oregon and will have plenty of opportunities to create plays in this high powered Dallas offense. While there were many options for Dallas here, when you want your guy, you get your guy regardless of the spot.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson.

He may be a fine poster, but Sean Murphy should not be any teams “answer” to fixing their secondary.
