Pratt can sit for a year or two behind Stafford/Jimmy G while also learning from and developing with McVay.

Jaguars select Renardo Green, CB, FSU

Both FSU corners are good but Renardo is a better fit for the outside CB in Nielsen’s scheme, which is ideal considering Abrams-Draine has slot locked down. Green had a real good 2023 & his tape against LSU’s elite wideouts stood out to me.

We’re not about to have an extremely difficult, press-man + LOB style cover 3 leaning defensive scheme get installed here without adding some CB talent to the room. I still love Tyson Campbell’s potential but he has to prove he can be consistent and not run so hot and cold in his contract year, cause when he’s hot he rules. Ronald Darby is good but getting old and injury prone. Our CB3 is what, 2022 late round pick Montaric Brown?

No. We are adding Abrams-Draine and Renardo Green to bolster the CB position so we can still potentially play good coverage if Darby goes down or if we decide Campbell isn’t worth a big CB1 contract. A former weakness in the roster becomes something of a strength now.

We’re getting to the point of the draft where it’s time to take athletic freaks and hope they develop. DE is especially thin in terms of late round guys who fit that bill, so I’m prioritizing Cole here
