Eagles select Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma I think the Eagles first round pick will ultimately come down to OT vs CB, with the possibility of edge rusher being considered. For now, I’m going to go with Guyton. The Eagles’ philosophy is to build through the trenches. With the way the board is falling in this draft, I’m happy to take an OT to develop behind Lane Johnson over a corner when only one corner has gone off the board so far.
The Dallas Cowboys select: Graham Barton - Interior Offensive Lineman - Duke Dallas is likely moving on from Tyron Smith. Tyler Smith will slide outside into the left tackle spot and Barton will be an immediate starter at guard.
Packers select Tyler Nubin, S, Minnesota Darnell Savage is an impending free agent, leaving a need at safety for the Packers. Why not
Thanks, JR. Steelers traded down and still have all of their choices from before. Steelers select Amarius Mims, Georgia, OT back to Georgia to bookend the line with some big boys. @EntryLevelTank Bills
The Bills select Brian Thomas Jr. WR, LSU. Diggs is awesome but the Bills are still searching for a complimentary weapon. Gabe ain’t it. Shakir flashed, but not enough to stop me from taking a WR here.
Lions select Kool Aid McKinstry, CB Alabama arguably the best CB in the draft somehow falls to the team that needs one the most. He would come in and immediately be the best corner in the locker room. Pairing him back up with Branch would also be great, and would be two lockdown members in our secondary for the future.
Ravens select Darius Robinson, IDL, Missouri Beastly inside / outside versatile defender that will fit amazingly as a 5-tech defensive end. Mike McDonald is gone but the Ravens will continue to play the same brand of aggressive 3-4 defense under recently promoted ILB coach (and ex-Ravens linebacker) Zachary Orr. He is likely to understand that all that activity gets funneled to the linebackers because of a front 3 that can wreak havoc and occupy 5 blockers. This defense, like KC, uses its defensive ends VERY aggressively compared to most 3-4 base defenses - Ravens like to generate pass rush from their DEs AND OLBs and use a lot of rotations in the secondary & packages with uneven fronts to compensate for that. Robinson’s excellent length and plus rush ability factors in well here, as he’s a very stout 296 pound run defender when asked to do some dirty work inside, but managed 8.5 sacks switching to end this year. You can see his grit and toughness clearly on tape. Guy plays like a Raven. I personally think the Ravens would be out of their minds to let Madubuike walk, guy was just as important to their defense this year as Hamilton and Roquan. Even if they don’t, which is my clear preference, they STILL have a hole at the other DE spot, so this is a necessary no brainer pick imo.
Kansas City Chiefs select Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas This might be a slight reach. But I think it's a great fit. Worthy will be able to stretch the field and give Mahomes another deep threat target. The Chiefs receivers have been a hot topic of late. Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy are a tandem that could propel their offense into the next era.
