The New England Patriots select: Drake Maye, QB, UNC It's time to finally build back from the Brady era. Starting with a QB who is tailor made for the offense newly hired OC Alex Van Pelt seems to want to implement is a good first step. I think Daniels may end up being better, but I'm enamored with Maye's ability to work the middle and upper end of the field. I miss a good seam throw.
Won't matter too too much since the top-5 are still gonna be basically the same just in a whacky order haha
I would only because if the decision to keep Fields (which I don’t think it is), the move is to trade 1.1 for a HAUL again but that’s a pain to do in a mock so MHJ works
I'll just say this: if the Bears AREN'T taking Caleb, and DON'T trade out of that pick, fire everyone (not to @phaynes12 specifically, just speaking in general)
i sent several messages to trade back, if they keep fields they absolutely should. i think real GMs would hop for the number one pick more readily than posters in a blink 182 site haha
Arizona Cardinals select Joe Alt, OL, Notre Dame Gannon continues building back the Cardinals the Philly way, giving Kyler two excellent book ends on the offensive line. I know a weapon is a popular pick here but the drop off from Alt to Tier 3 OTs vs. Nabers/Odunze and Tier 2 WRs is too significant too ignore. Alt is a blue chip talent and arguably the best player in the draft. Can't pass up the opportunity to have an elite OL for a decade
Okay, fine, we're taking Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia To be honest, I don't super love this pick. The goal was to move down, but Herby needs weapons, and if Sam LaPorta could have the impact he had with the Lions, why can't the most complete Tight End prospect maybe ever?
Bowers rocks, him and herby is a pairing i'd love to actually see begging for him to not be Pitts 2.0. i know the player types aren't similar but wrt hype going in
