No shame in watching YT highlight videos to just give you an idea on a player. It is the most accessible way for me quickly to get a vibe check and feel. Tank Dell passed my vibe check last year, but also so did DeWayne McBride lol

I just cannot commit to watch the game films and also don't watch enough college football either, so it really is all I can rely on besides just reading what people think here and online

Yep, just not enough time in the day in my life to commit that much time to college prospects who are likely going to be busts. I’d shell out money for the NFL all-22 stuff if it were more affordable, but I just don’t have THAT much interest for the price

Oh yeah no shame at all in that for anyone here lol. Only shame in that are the arrogant guys on twitter who charge for their "analysis"

In fairness, if I could sucker someone into paying me for my analysis I totally would haha

The paywall shit annoys me. I would like to believe they exist to help compensate the writers, but I largely avoid subscription-based analysis. The only site I subscribe to is Reception Perception because I’ve been following Matt Harmon’s work on wide receivers since, like, 2017.

Is he right all the time? No, of course not, but I enjoy his analysis and the subscription fee is extremely fair and manageable for, like, $20/year. But I’m not interested in doing, like, PFF where their analysis is referring to a bunch of their grades. Not worth the price considering how often everyone is wrong about prospects and players, even if some of the data they collect is interesting/useful

This is why I can't do this job. I'd 100% narc on someone if they said something that stupid.

    Safeties:

    • Derwin James, Taylor Rapp, Brian Branch, Jalen Pitre, and Marcus Williams are the top five
    • Top-15 is all hits aside from Rapp and Pitre who are moderate and Nasir Adderley and Kyzir White
    • Top 5 Rookies - Kitan Oladapo, Cole Bishop, Javon Bullard, Tyler Nubin, Malik Mustapha
    • Names that graded high that aren't being talked about as much as they should - Kitan Oladapo, Malik Mustapha, Akeem Dent, Evan Williams
    • "Day 2" guys that graded out poorly - Kamrn Kinchens, Calen Bullock, Dadrion Taylor-Demerson
    • Position changes made this one kinda weird but there isn't really a way to account for that other than to just not include them.
    • Unless linebackers shock me, safeties will end up being the position that relies on great athleticism the least.
    • No prospect graded out with a bigger lead at 1st place than Derwin James.
