Very possible, maybe even likely, McConkey / Pearsall is better than Ridley / Zay or Gabe Davis (with Kirk and McConkey swapping slot and Z duties). This is a scenario where I agree with @CarpetElf that your X doesn’t HAVE to be your best guy… Ladd + Kirk both being natural route runners who can ad lib to find open space, would be a nightmare to guard on the same side of the field in trips / flex / twins while still devoting a strong enough guy to out-body Pearsall for the ball.

Very possible also, that Armstead + Hamilton back healthy in a 4-3 + Allen locked down + Travon Walker taking another step forward fixed our DL… and fairly possible that Ronald Darby holds up as a solid CB2 this year. So in a *best case scenario* we could have a green light to just go WR / WR / BPA this draft and still be on track to keep our “window” open.
