It's funny because there's not a reason MHJ Nabers or Odunze should be able to go to the Jaguars AND YET we know that EVERY YEAR one of these WRs for some reason reaches this incredibly attainable position and we have things like Henry Ruggs being drafted over CeeDee Lamb and Justin Jefferson

 

Where was Lamb drafted, oh yeah pick 17 where the Jaguars currently pick

 

The Jaguars passed on my favorite receiver of the last decade TWICE to take busts CJ Henderson and K’Lavon Chaisson so this works both ways too lol

 

Yeah it's just like it's a thing where I totally get why people should say you shouldn't expect the Jags to get one of these guys or be able to, and yet they also CAN so it's surprisingly reasonable to WANT it from your team

Tell you hwat, if they miss all my favorite WRs but draft Quinyon or Terrion or trade up for Joe Alt instead, those things are also acceptable. I will still think Baalke did everything backwards and fucked Trevor Lawrence’s development in the process but I mean we also do need a strong CB2/potentially better CB1 than Campbell and we have needed a good left tackle for over 10 years.

“I will burn it all”: if we don’t draft a WR, the Colts get a sick ass weapon also, and we end up as the only AFCS team that didn’t improve our offense, but then we also don’t even draft a shutdown corner to STOP the Colts and Titans WRs. Then it’s like fuck Trevor Lawrence and fuck our defense too let’s just be the worst team in the division and shatter whatever window we had

There's a LOT I would be happy with and not a lot I would realistically be just "eh" on. So I can't wait to see how they shock and disappoint me this time.

 

It's pretty nice going into the draft finally and not expecting anything, and knowing it just adds to the team
