    The rivalry is back on

I’m even fine with not trading down and snagging whichever of the tackles is still there and doubling up on IOL in the middle rounds.

I’ve just seen them mocked Quinyon quite a few times and I can’t imagine using your 1 on the defense given how that line looks

After seeing you post the Texans getting 1st round talents through round three, it's refreshing seeing a wasted pick. but still no thank you try again because Nubin + Benson + Sinnott would FEAASSSSST

So @CarpetElf - I tried it. I scored an extra 1st next year. I think I’d survive the night if this was the path, but still much prefer sticking at 3 and snagging Maye and still slightly prefer Daniels over this.

The fact that you aren't extremely excited about this makes me think you deserve to draft Spencer Rattler at 3.

I really like Maye and I think oftentimes people overvalue the potential of picks and it gets in the way of getting guys who can play. I.e. choosing a lesser QB because it comes with a future 1st.

I understand the Maye thing but Daniels over that trade is bonkers af.

I also just won't believe Maye is available at 3 until I literally see it with my own eyes

Daniels over JJ is more just wanting SOME kind of explosive threat on offense.

I also just don’t really buy into the JJ hype. Maybe I’ll dig back into him but I’m just like “meh” today. Feels like a more talented Mac Jones where it’s like “if you get everything around them right, they can be good” which I just lived through.

I still hate everything about the strategy of McCarthy at 6

IMO a trade down has to be accompanied by an emphatic “the top of this class isn’t our QB answer”. McCarthy at 3 is ok (not what I’d do), McCarthy at 34 (or a smol trade up into the bottom of the first round) is ok, but McCarthy at 6 is too cute for my liking

Mac was his best self at Alabama. Unathletic and a bad arm but can play in the perfect situation. JJ was underutilized. Very good athlete with an outstanding arm and one of if not the best in class at playing in high pressure situations (under pressure, big games, and 3rd/4th and long).

Reiman, Guerendo, and Tracy all feel like solid fits; not upset with getting an extra touch point with each of them
