my counter to this (not that teams are “just coming around on him” as if scouts haven’t spent years looking at this class already) is that I fully believe teams are doing due diligence — it’d be stupid not to, and I’m not sure I fully believe that he’s not a plan B or C or a decoy for other things like everyone actually circling to get QB3 or bait a trade up or an agent trying to create demand for their client or something like that

I may be unfamiliar with their games, but Andre James/Jordan Meredith/Thayer Munford seems like a less than ideal C/RG/RT combo if you’re trying to win with Gardner “I can’t handle pressure” Minshew or a rookie

 

Their OL to RB ratio on their roster is currently 8:6, which is borderline insane roster construction at this point in the offseason

 

I know I say this about almost everyone, but Ryan Roberts sucks ass
