I don’t want to read too much into top 30 visits, but it’s neat that this guy put together a list of everyone the Eagles have brought in so far

5 of the Patriots rookie class were pre-draft visits, so at least on my end it helps narrow the field a bit haha

It was very telling for the Eagles last year, as he mentions in the article. I just wish he went further back, even if just by a few years, to help prove his point a bit more

But, yeah, obviously they’re at least something. Looking forward to digging deep into some of those players

Only 2 in 2022 for the Patriots and 1 in 2021

    there is one way out

    Steelers pre-draft visits:
2023 - 4 drafted, Jones, Porter, Benton, Washington
    2022 - 3 drafted, Pickett, Robinson, Oladokun
No data from 2021, 2020 visits because of Pandemic, apparently

I had a dream last night btw that I missed the entire draft, let alone the Zoom, and the Patriots picked one of the tackles not named Alt

2024 NFL Draft Prospect Visit Tracker - NFLTradeRumors.co

This site has them all. Visits are telling to a varying degree. The Browns are usually very open with their interests. Jaguars usually meet with their 2-4 guys. They had like no contact with Anton Harrison last year though. Packers iirc are basically an open book for day three. If I can find the data going back far enough I'll just put something together

    The rivalry is back on

In terms of Top 30 visits, I think the Colts had 2 draftees in last year (one of which was AR). In terms of “meeting with” in general, I hope everyone meets with everyone they’re interested in — whether it’s at the combine, All Star games, or Pro Days

For the Colts I literally just listen to Michael. Every year he's just like "that guys a Colt" and then boom, he's taken in the 2nd round.

So who is it this year @whitenblue88

If I had to guess the first rounder today, I’d guess Cooper DeJean and if I had to guess the second rounder, I’d say Ricky Pearsall

I’ll give you a board of 10, ordered how I think they’d order them, which I’d expect the Colts’ top 2 picks to come from

    Quinyon Mitchell
    Cooper DeJean
    AD Mitchell
    Xavier Worthy
    Brian Thomas Jr
    Braden Fiske
    Payton Wilson
    Ricky Pearsall
    Xavier Legette
    Cole Bishop

ultimately, I think they do the Ballard Shuffle and trade down from 15 and, not knowing where they land, it’s hard to make a spot prediction.

there’s a *lot* of smoke around Worthy and IND, Ballard declaratively said “there’s a lot of work to do in the secondary” and there’s a grand total of 3 early rounders I think fit that mold — Quinyon is a no-brainer IMO if he’s there at 15 (I don’t think he’ll be), AD reads so much like the high ceiling type IND targets with their early picks, Fiske would be my pick if the Colts had any sort of DT need

If you think Ballard is going to trade down, perhaps he does so with the Eagles. Howie is always looking to trade during the draft. In the last five drafts, the Eagles have moved up in the first round four times (2019, 2021-2023). They stayed put in 2020

Howie and Chris do like to trade — players, picks, and coaches

    Makes sense this year too

I don’t know how high up the Eagles would go. They moved up a few spots for Andre Dillard in 2019, then just one spot in the last few drafts so a jump from 22 to 15 would surprise me, but I can see them moving up a few spots for an offensive lineman, edge rusher, or corner

I think both Pennsylvania teams have their eye on Nate Wiggins

I haven’t seen any connection to Wiggins so far, but that obviously doesn’t mean they aren’t interested. Have you been seeing that in mocks?

My guess right now is that the Eagles would love to use their first rounder on an offensive lineman who could eventually replace Lane Johnson at RT when he retires, but can play at RG now and kick out to RT if/when Lane misses time due to injury.

Not ruling out the possibility of an edge rusher considering that Bryce Huff and Nolan Smith are their only edge rushers worth mentioning who are under contract in 2025.

They obviously have a need at corner, but Howie values the trenches so much that he’ll forgo greater needs elsewhere on the roster to solidly depth on the lines. They still have needs at WR and LB too.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they come out of this draft without a notable addition at corner. They did so in 2021 and 2022 before acquiring Steven Nelson and James Bradberry, respectively. I can absolutely see them passing on corners in the draft, then trading for a veteran in the summer

Not so much in the mocks for them. I just think that's a great fit

    there is one way out

Pittsburgh has only had one top 30 visit with a CB so far, which seems curious.
