I really don’t see how Denver can screw up their first round pick and that scares me. We need help at every position but I know theyll find a way to fuck it up.

 

If the Broncos want another first, they can have the Eagles’ for Surtain

i agree with matt's analysis on braelon - he's a late third round talent at best - but still think he's a better prospect than several of the RBs you had over him

 

To be clear that isn't my actual rankings yet. It doesn't take into account film and it's contextualized through the last decade, not just this class.

 

@CarpetElf - Okay, so I'm starting to noodle on "Should they trade down and take McCarthey" a bit more. I still don't love it. And I particularly hate trading down to 11 because I'm of the belief that 4 QBs are going in the top-10.

 

Also @Night Channels - Can I get your QB rankings?

 

They should trust their scouts and take the guy they like the most at 3 IMO

 

But idk it’s likely that most of these guys will underachieve relative to expectations

I am starting to get nervous trading down to 11 takes us out of the top 4 QB range, the 2 elite OT range, and top 3 WR range. It also doesn't feel good taking the 4th remaining QB. At least at 3 you can choose between McCarthy vs. Daniels/Maye.

I think you and I are on the same page of what WE want, and it is best QB available at 3. I just hope Mayo/Wolfe/Groh/J. Kraft are on that page lol

So I guess the plan is for Onwenu to go into the season as the RT. So that's pretty exciting.

Chuks/Strange/Andrews/Sow/Onwenu with an offseason together to actually practice and a real OL coach isn't too bad. Can move Tackle down to either like Paul or Puni in the 3rd or 4th maybe?
