Sure the current dynasty runs through a tight end and the team they beat to get to the super runs through tight ends and the the team they beat in the superbowl has an elite tight end and the team they beat to get to the super bowl had their offense become elite thanks to a rookie tight end and sure they all have great interior OLs, invest heavily in nickel and safety defenders and have a true defensive QB at LB but that's probably all just a coincidence

teams with great TDs almost always separate themselves from the pack, why would you pass on what is supposedly the best draft prospect in the position group in years

I think the Ravens offense became elite more so because of Lamar Jackson than Mark Andrews, but that’s no shade on Brock Bowers

Also, Mark Andrews and George Kittle were third and fifth round picks respectively

Teams should just draft good players :nerd:

well sure it's not just one factor, having mahomes helps when you also have kelce lol, but there are, what ... 4 great TEs in the league? 5? 6? almost all of them are on great teams. having a great QB helps with that obviously but idk why a team like the chargers wouldn't take a swing at him.

I’m not arguing that teams shouldn’t take Bowers with a high pick, but it’s worth pointing out that many of the best TEs in the league right now were not first round picks.

Every draft ebbs and flows differently. I don’t think Bowers is going to fall all the way to 21 overall, but there are other good players in the draft and lots of factors that go into why teams select positions they do. Some teams are desperate for QBs, WRs, OTs, and CBs. I’ve heard there are lots of good WRs, OTs, and CBs early in this draft and a few good QBs as well.

If Bowers isn’t falling, someone else is. Always happens

Like, last year, people were surprised at how far Christian Gonzalez fell. Dude was talked about going in the top 10 and maybe even the top 5, but he fell all the way to 17

I wouldn’t read into some mock draft in March before free agency that has Bowers going 21st. Just a few years ago, a team took Kyle Pitts fourth overall. I’m sure someone will draft Bowers higher than 21st

Mark Andrews was a 3rd round pick in a draft where that same team took a 1st round TE

Same because the Commanders took some other corner who’s small over him that AJ Brown just bullied in both games
