I do not believe for a second that Jeremiah Trotter Jr was the Eagles best pick, but I guess it’s cool that they got him at a bit of a discount.

I think Quinyon Mitchell or Cooper DeJean would be their best pick, but I largely agree with the rest of your assessment @CarpetElf

 

This was definitely my favorite Niner draft in awhile, and of course I didn't get to watch a second of it. Expected it to be a boring, add to the trench draft, and yet they played to my heart and added some WRs and DBs (and some OGs with under 4.47 shuttles.) fun stuff

 

It's more value based than skill based. Like yeah Quinyon is easily the best player but getting a top 10 guy at 22 is less crazy than getting a top 40 guy at 155

I don't like, HATE him, I just think don't like the value or situation. I don't think he's ready to start day one at LT and there were a lot of offensive linemen available that I liked more.

 

SF’s “worst” pick being a player I (and you) absolutely love just screams many things about how good that team is built lol

Either him or Chuka. I def don’t expect the Rookies to be starting on the line early.

 

Chuka or Caeden only if he absolutely blows them away in camp.

They’ve said so far Chuka is LT1 but made a point to say they think everyone including Mike can switch sides.

I think they’re gonna go into training camp with the plan of

Chuka Strange Andrews Sow and Onwenu and if anyone unseats them, they unseat them.

I think you can kinda see it in how they drafted the two groups where I think both WRs are kinda ready to get on the field and contribute whereas the OL are more developmental guys that they’re hoping to build.

I like LBs lol.

I think he's a really good athlete and an all around LB. He's not as good as Edgerrin or Payton but I think looking at the full picture of his career he's probably the third best LB in the draft. I hate comparisons so this is probably way off but I think like, Matt Milano or Patrick Queen

 

I’ve heard/seen him get compared to TJ Edwards a couple times and I saw one of those people compare him to Danny Trevathan too. If he turns out to be as good as any of those two, it’s a massive slam dunk

Favorite Pick: Jonathon Brooks
Least Favorite Pick: Jaden Crumedy
Most Underrated Pick: Trevin Wallace

Our running game last year was abysmal. The injuries and poor play from the IOL obviously didn’t help. But we don’t have a RB that can carry a team or take over a game. I think Brooks has the potential to be that guy.

Crumedy is my least favorite pick because I have no clue who he is. And some of my guys were still on the board. Tahj Washington, Beaux Limmer, Brenden Rice. Even Michael Pratt would’ve been a good pick there. But oh well. It’s a 6th round pick.

Trevin Wallace was a guy I only vaguely knew anything about. Since we picked him I read a couple articles that said he was good and it’s offseason so I’m sold. He is fast, plays with an aggression, looks solid in pass coverage. Sounds like he needs to add some strength. But an NFL training program will do that for him. He won’t be required to start early. So he’ll have time to develop with Evero. I think he has a pretty high ceiling with his athleticism.

*Dolphins drafted several players I like. But I don’t feel like they really addressed any pressing needs. Weird draft.
