Every other AFCS team upgraded, we downgraded. At the absolute best BTJ and Gabe Davis is a lateral move from losing Calvin Ridley. Adding just any receiver doesn’t matter if you let your WR1 walk

the Colts have Pittman AND Adonai Mitchell. The Titans have Hopkins AND Ridley. The Texans have Stefon Diggs AND Nico Collins.

we acquired two straight line receivers INSTEAD of a great route runner.

I would love to see the concrete report that Trevor Lawrence asked for BTJ because otherwise why are we talking about it

 

There have been literally multiple people that have said he was going to have input. Dilla and Pretty Rickey have both said it. Both have shown they have info, maybe not always right but they do get it.

But honestly more importantly because she is an actual a media member who covers the Jags, Mia O’Brien. She said the exact same thing in regards to him being involved after Trevor had his postseason meeting with the Khans.

 

I was on the fence about it because of the lofty expectations he will like feel from fans, media, the team, his family, and himself, but they have such a huge need at LB that they should take him if he’s the best one available

They brought Cedric Gray in for 30 so I won’t be surprised if he’s the pick if both are still on the board when the Eagles are on the clock

CJ Stroud told reporters he actually went and threw with BTJ. THAT would be a concrete report. BTJ says he hasn’t met or talked to Trevor. Trevor telling his front office “I want a bigger receiver I can throw downfield to” is not the same as that. Other WRs fit that

Rickey clearly only has reliable info about certain things. I told Matt about it but he tweeted and then deleted LAC taking Nabers and changed it to Alt because he got wrong info first I’m assuming lol

BTJ had a top-30 visit with the Jags and no one knew until he mentioned it on Thursday after he was picked. For all we know Trevor threw with him too.
