I also am of the opinion that Drake Maye is a very good QB prospect in a way that JJ McCarthy, Michael Penix, and Bo Nix are not

 

I’d have taken either those offers if Maye went 2 though

 

I think they've got similar ceilings tbh and it's just a matter of what kind of floor do you prefer - a guy who needs to do great more often or a guy who needs to do poorly less often.

Yeah — like CB, I don’t *love* the fit of any of the top 10 or so just based off what they typically do (they like beeg/long, explosive safeties and most of top of this class checks a max of one of those boxes), but Bishop, Hicks, and Mustapha I think are the most realistic options that might go tonight

Cam Hart is my pick if they pick someone in the secondary tonight barring a miracle DeJean pick, but I’m even a little hesitant on him going tonight?

 

Some rumors of Panthers going RB next. Not sure how to feel about that. But it would be nice if whoever it is turns into an actual RB1. We had some games last year where we averaged 2-3 yards per carry. As a team. Part of that is on us having 3rd stringers across the interior line. But the backs also struggled. A legit RB would be huge for the offense.

But I can’t justify it if one of the corners make it to 39.

 

Jaguars are rumored to be trading up for Kool Aid/Johnny or staying put for Melton/Maason so in their honor for dinner I will either be having wagyu or a tarp that I found in the woods

When you’re in striking range to draft a QB who is *hopefully* great, just do it. Don’t dink around by piling up mid-late 1st round picks and prolong the nonsense another year lol
