    The rivalry is back on

This feels like a *draft board fell wrong for IND* first round and am a little surprised Latu was above Turner on their board, but I’m not too surprised none of the corners met their measurable thresholds to be the pick and am aligned that adding difference makers on defense should be the top priority this draft and am assuming that actual doctors being comfortable with Latu is enough to not be too worried about the whole medical retirement thing

If Latu is healthy he could be a top defensive player in the draft. I hate that you guys got him haha

Is there like, a trophy or perhaps some sort of clown mask that franchise use when the torch is passed. Because the Browns, as deserving as they are historically, need to pass that mask onto the Falcons. They are that sadness going forward

Bowers is a weird one for me, because I think he’s simultaneously great value (top 5 player in the class at 13) and inexcusably dreadful value (Raiders have massive holes everywhere, just drafted Meyer at 35 last year, and yet are using a top 15 pick on another TE)

  19. Happy with XL. I don’t know if there’s much of a difference in the group of receivers we were picking from. The team clearly loves Xavier and wanted him the entire process. So we’ll see how it pans out. But they got their guy.

The trade up is nothing. Not sure why people would be upset about that. We get a 5th year option at an expensive position. That’s more valuable than the drop-off on day 3.

  21. I hate how every team in the league seems to willingly help the eagles every draft. It’s not fair.

  22. I have to disagree with this haha

Calling him average at both is just harsh. His blend of size and speed is coveted. And it’s not just measurables from the combine. It’s his in-game speed that creates big plays after the catch. He uses his size to make contested catches. He has great and consistent hands.

The team also likes his demeanor and work ethic side of things. They want the “dawgs” and label him as that type of player. And he’s definitely a great fit on paper opposite of Diontae Johnson.

My only concern is that one year of production part. I don’t know how much that will matter. If he had two years like this past season, he’d be a top 20 pick. So we’ll see how it goes.

  24. Now I get to spend all day hoping one of McKinstry or Cooper falls to 39.

yeah if kool aid falls to 39 i feel better about it, even though we probably could have just drafted each in each other’s spots lol
