What is McCarthy’s stock?

Obviously not top 3, but does being young and toolsy put him above someone like Nix, who is objectively better at the QB position going into the draft? I can’t imagine he would declare if it didn’t, but also I don’t see it if he is

 

I imagine he could go QB4

 

honestly asking — what is he exceptional at to make him a top draft prospect? Or is it just that he’s the 6’4” QB of the national champions?

I only really watched the OSU, Bama, and UW games, and there wasn’t much in any of those that suggested anything close to a top 5 QB prospect

 

I'd say top 6 QB prospect for sure. Emphasis on 6. He's got good enough tools and is young so I'm sure he'll be overdrafted

I’ve enjoyed The Ringer NFL Draft Show (it’s under the fantasy football show’s feed at the moment) and the PFF NFL Stock Exchange. I’ve found both entertaining, informative, and digestible enough without being bogged down a ton by just dry discussions. They also only go once or twice a week as opposed to, like, five, so I find it easier to keep up with them
