I personally wish we would’ve cut Scherff and drafted Fuaga to replace him day one, instead of letting Ridley walk directly to our division rivals and not being able to replace him all the way with pick 17 without making a trade

 

Given that it was always obvious ARSB level talents are gonna make $28M-$30M a season (Tyreek Hill got $30M for Miami a year ago and the salary cap inflated a lot since then)… it was always obvious Ridley was gonna get $23M on the market, he and his agent had no reason to budge
