Freddie is 35, Mookie, Snell and Teoscar are 32, Glasnow is 31, Shohei is 30…this current roster isn’t my favorite for the World Series past 2026. But of course they’ll probably find a way to get younger stars in there when those guys stop being productive lol

 

Nah if you win 1 it's a success IMO

If you can guarantee a World Series win in the free agency stages it's a win no matter how much extra spending beyond that there is

Yep but we’ll see who pans out. They’re pitching dev wizards (except for the whole UCLs and shoulders thing) but their org has always seemed to excel more at revamping big league hitters than developing position player prospects imo. Maybe I’m forgetting someone but to my mind they haven’t had a homegrown hitter who they really nailed since Seager. Obviously Bellinger is a weird case all to himself but even if we include him it’s been a bit.

 

Of course how many runs do you really need to score when you’ve got the pitchers in their early to mid 20s that they have…

 

I feel like Bellinger should be counted but yeah it's still a pretty rare occurrence, that's a good observation

 

I think that’s probably the more fair take from an org perspective. I just kind of tend to think of him as having the weirdest career arc of all time and therefore not really indicative of any other trends whatsoever haha

Which on the open market is roughly equivalent to lower bowl tickets to a Dodgers series in June

 

Plus Livvy Dunne will let you sit next to her for a game, which might be enough to sway an 11 year old lol

dodgers keep signing players that I’m like so whose getting traded to clear roster spots

 

Unfortunately there are probably a lot of creepy men in their 50s or whatever for whom that also would be a huge selling point
