The only thing bad for baseball is other teams rolling over and refusing to actually spend and instead pretend they have no money. Respect that the Dodgers are one of the few teams to give a shit.

 

It's not the Dodgers fault that they can take advantage of it, but they gotta change these bullshit deferral tax responsibilities. It's laughable that Shohei only costs like 46 mil towards their taxable payroll

With all the people they've deferred, what should their actual payroll be? Gotta be 425 at least

They can change it for sure but the players agreed to it and nothing is stopping any other team from doing it

 

I do think it's a little annoying that they keep adding big names to a roster that just won a World Series but what's more annoying is the narrative that no other teams have a chance
