Playing Arenado at 1B would be incredibly stupid. He’s fallen off precipitously at the plate but his defense is still good at third. Doesn’t hit enough for a 1B. Yall should sign Christian Walker instead

Idk man I would give up Gil for Tucker without a sweat. Gil is a really old rookie and was good but didn’t exactly set the world on fire this year. Tucker is a bona fide super star just with poor name recognition for some reason. I understand the hesitancy given how Soto trade + FA played out but I’d still do the deal. Even if he’s another one year rental you gotta fill in the lineup around Judge/Stanton/Jazz somehow.

Tucker has had health issues but he’s easily the most dynamic bat available right now, like significantly better than Bregman, Arenado, Suzuki, Alonso, Walker
