Padres triple play to get in the playoffs.

Padres shitting the bed for 20+ innings allowing the LA Deferrals cake walk to their first World Series in 30+ years

it is objectively a top 5 moment yes, ridiculous to think otherwise

in ten years I will remember 1) freeman in WS 2) that at bat from Soto 3) Ohtani hurting himself and probably nothing else from these playoffs

I just spent $160 on a dodgers starter jacket

hope that funds Buehler next contract or Sasaki whoever

  23. Did you ask the store if you could defer your payments on said jacket a few years? That’s how it works in LA right? ;-p

I don’t generally care about the deferrals but my understanding is the players may not be subject to CA state taxes when they receive the deferred money if they’re residing elsewhere by then right? That seems like a loophole CA legislature should try to close—even with the billion dollars of deferrals it’s a drop in the bucket for the state budget still but doesn’t sit right with me

Betting that the Mets sign Soto but he opts out in two years when he's had enough of their rotation, then the Yankees sign him
