This makes me legit sad if true. Gleyber is one of the main reasons I got back into baseball. His joy was palpable. Hope he has an incredible career.

Always liked Gleyber and his apparent love playing for the Yankees, but not at all surprised that he's not going to be pursued. Hope he does well in the future. Liked Rizzo when he had his stretches and thought he was a very good defensive first baseman most of the time, but also not at all surprised.

Works for the Red Sox. I didn’t talk to the source directly it came from my friend who knows someone that works for the Sox.

I don’t reach out to people I know that work for the Sox about rumors or stuff like that. Don’t want things to be weird.
