I am on the record many times in this thread and elsewhere saying most manager criticism is overblown bc they don’t really matter that much. But bringing in the guy who hasn’t thrown since Sept to face 1-2-3 in that lineup is, to paraphrase the Moneyball movie, the kind of decision that gets you fired. It’s too cute by half
