Unfortunately I wouldn’t be surprised if Sale didn’t end up pitching a game this post season. I don’t believe it’s just “back spasms”, he hasn’t pitched since the 19th and his velocity in September was way down.

 

I remember as a kid arguing with my much older (like proper adult) sister’s boyfriend about whether Pete Rose was the best hitter of all time. Bf was convinced that most hits = best hitter. And this was a guy who is an avowed baseball fan, not some dude just humoring a 12 year old

I couldn’t believe it. They’re still together like 15+ years later and that is still all I can think about whenever I see him at family functions. Fucking Pete Rose best hitter? Be for real
