I think I saw a clip of his podcast where he was talking to Jason Heyward or someone with Braves ties and it kinda slipped out he was a fan. Also, he grew up in Tennessee.

 

It was my first time watching the Derby and I thought it was fun

The bonus outs grew on me as the night went. As much as I enjoyed the rapid fire timed rounds when they started, the event needs to breathe. I thought Jose's arms were going to fall off. Drop 2 competitors from the first round, just do 40 balls no timer.

 

I like the new rules. Top 4 advancing is so much better than the head to head bracket shit.

But nobody really put on a big show last night. Plus I hate the Texas stadium so much. Bland as fuck and looks like shit on TV. HR derby is so much better outside with a city skyline.
