Yeah I saw that kid mocked to the royals

also saw a tweet that said the Padres drafted a high schooler for the 8th year in a row

 

something to be said for getting an 18 year old into the development pipeline as opposed to 21-22 year old, much more likely to get the tweaks and coaching in early to get the player to the next level

 

I guess it’s really how soon you think they can contribute right? How many high schoolers get called up within a year or two?
