I guess I really do not understand how sports betting works. I don’t understand how the World Series runner up - who made several upgrades during the offseason - are so far behind multiple teams who missed the playoffs…only 1-2 of which got better this offseason.

 

I don’t know how it works either but the Dbacks won 84 games and had a negative run differential and I do know that’s far more predictive than the fact they made the Cinderella playoff run

 

Oh for sure, I just figured oddsmakers would favor them more seeing as they’ll have continued growth of young players and a bolstered infield + pitching staff.
