Serious question, because I really don’t know, besides the Harper fight what else has he really done that makes him a bad person? I haven’t followed him since he left the Sox.

Gotcha, I wasn’t sure if I missed anything. He’s always seemed like the stereotypical redneck frat guy.

I met him once before Game 3 of the 2005 ALDS, was nice to me talked for like 5ish minutes about the Sox farm system and I remember he had tons of high praise of Jon Lester. He was really excited about the future of the team even though they were about to be eliminated by the White Sox.

 

Maybe the real issue is that my dads family is also from MS like Papelbon and he reminds me of some distant relatives a bit too much lol.

Red Sox turned out to do pretty well post 2005 as I recall
