that is actually absurd. Justin Steele is the only 3 war player who is still playing the arbitration game and on a depressed contract. Not saying he’s the only good one, but typically well constructed rosters have a few of those to offset a bloated salary for underperformance like Taillon offered last season.

I don't disagree with the general sentiment behind his comments because obviously your family is going to come first, but you're going to the field and suiting up. You're not with your family.

No one on the planet would vilify the guy if he got word that something serious was going on with his family and he left a game or whatever. Not sure how faith even plays into it, but if Jesus comes back while he's on the field, I'm pretty sure he'll know it and baseball won't matter, so....he should just do his job to his best ability lol. I don't love my job either, but I still do it as well as I can

 

I agree the Rendon comments are *not good* but he also said this just for what it’s worth. Players are human beings and we just don’t know what’s going on in their lives as much as we think we do.

They look like trash and hopefully it all gets sorted out before the season starts, but if it doesn't, someone needs to take bets on who the first player to blame their slow start on the new uniforms will be.

 

The jersey's look like they wouldn't hold up someone sliding into a base.

I also have a soft spot for the Brew Crew city connects and the pink/green Padres ones. No one else I know liked those, though

yeah Nike will go back to producing the players jerseys and fanatics will just do fan jerseys which sucks so much

 

but hey if you aren’t a stickler for these kind of things you can always go on depop or eBay and buy a vintage jersey and just get it customized and you’ll know it’ll be good especially the majestic ones
