we had to get a dishwasher in november and now the oven, our fridge is old but no issues

we had to get a dishwasher last summer and found a good deal on a bosch. have looked at them for other appliances and just lol'd at the prices.

the person at lowes tried to get us to buy a kitchenaid that had a garbage disposal built in and I was like no I'll just pay like $600 for this samsung please

 

that was the idea

 

we had to get a fridge (ended up getting an LG) and a dishwasher (went Bosch) within the last like 6 months. Would recommend both brands so far.

Oven and microwave are going to shit soon I am guessing since the originals were all purchased in like 2009.

i was looking at the LG fridges while my wife was doing the paperwork. those that make the giant iceballs plus regular ice are incredible...definitely going to angle for one of those when ours shits out lol

 

Another great thing about being a Yankees fan - no names on the back of the uniform, so less to look like shit with these new ones.

Also, to chime in on the home appliance thread we have going - Have an LG Fridge highly recommend. Replaced dishwasher and microwave last year. Microwave is a whirlpool and I think it's fine, but was a pain in the ass to install because it didn't match up with the holes from the GE we had prior to that. Can't for the life of me remember what dishwasher we went with, but compared to our old one (which I also can't remember for some reason), it sucks, so don't get the brand I got

 

we also need a range hood installed. the current oven (which was there when we bought the house) is an old Jenn-Air that has a vent system built into the range top. but the kitchen was remodeled before we bought it and while they built in space for a range hood in the cabinets above it, there's no actual ventilation going on

 

I think we need a new stove also, one of the burners is stuck on high all the time which is really annoying. I read that I can change something called an infinity rod and that might solve the issue, but I haven't tried it yet. But infinity rod sounds so cool that I want to try that just so I can say it to someone in the store

 

a new infinity rod seems like it will send you to another dimension or something prob

we just have a microwave above ours which also needs replacing now because everything else aside from the fridge is stainless and it's still the black 2005 era shit that came with the house.

i was also intrigued by the samsung fridges with the built in water pitcher in the hidden door that have interchangable color panels but my wife told me to get fucked when i suggested a green fridge so i guess those are out.

I told my wife I was going to look into the single team thing but I don't think she'll agree to let me spend $130 on a sport that I decided to like 4 months ago
