I watched a game from 1996 today and the jerseys basically looked like this

I wasn’t fully on board with the Verdugo trade. Never liked him on the Red Sox and didn’t think it was going to work out, but I’ve definitely come around a bit. And this quote on barking and how they approach games is so funny to me:

“So, we start with a baby bark. And the more damage you do, the base (in our voices) starts going a little deeper and you start turning into a big dog,” Verdugo said. “So every day, it’s a little dog. And when you do something, you’re a big dog.”

This makes me like him even less than I already did lol

 

hahah...it is so dumb, but for some reason I find it hilarious and that makes me like him. Like if I were in the dugout I would feel so stupid doing it the first few times and then suddenly I'd be all in on it.

Guarantee you all that if the Yankees keep up this pace and they keep showing shots of the dugout with all the guys barking at each other after a home run, I will be barking in my living room

 

And my wife will be in the other room going, "they can't hear you, idiot"
