I’ve left Godwin on the bench two games in a row lol relegate me outta my league

 

I literally plugged in Godwin over Moore at 12:59 pm and these moves typically always backfire on me but I am so happy that it didn’t.

Need a miracle in my main league, need Williams to score less than 10 tonight. He did in week 1, need that to happen again

 

Got smoked in one league but as long as Kyle pitts doesn’t score like 75 tomorrow I’m gonna win in my main league.

I’ve had Kamara almost every year in fantasy his whole career, which includes drafting him in the 13th round his rookie season.

His 6 TD’s on christmas to win my championship was my favorite memory, but today right up there!

 

I bought into the Likely hype as well and had Bowers on my bench qq

 

I started Kincaid over Bowers but certainly am switching that until further notice

Think the Likely results from week 1 were really situational and related to how the Chiefs were covering. Andrews had still been on the field more and he was getting double covered. I think for now Andrews is still their preferred guy.

 

Had two top 5 WRs this week with JJ and Nico

 

My team has put up 160 so far this week (non-PPR, standard scoring league). I'm up on my opponent by 90 and still have Goedert left - not that I expect any production out of him.

I lost last week because I left CMC in my lineup and didn't have a back-up option by the time he was (at the time - shockingly) ruled out 90 minutes before MNF and only ended up losing last week by a couple of points.

I should very easily be 2-0 right now.

 

That Santos FG towards the end last night gave me the win woooo

 

I would say me drafting Bowers super late in a keeper league over like Gabe Davis has worked out quite well for me, as I now have what could be an excellent keeper and top TE for next season. And now because I do have Kincaid who will be fine once there is a normal game script, I could trade him to a TE needy team which is like every team in my league.

So I don't know, I feel quite fine with it lol

This is why I put zero stock into the TE position. Outside of the top 1, maybe 2 TEs, everyone else is a crap shoot on a week to week basis and every team is struggling with the same issue, so that is why I never focus on the position and have always, always drafted a TE with my third to last pick of every draft (followed by kicker and then defense). I draft my entire bench before drafting one Tight End. No use in wasting a pick (or worse, a bench spot) on a total dart throw.

 

Yeah I feel fine rostering two TE’s when they’re Bowers and Likely, there’s no one else worth a shit on waivers in this league. Bowers is already legit as far as the TE position goes and I’ll admit I overreacted buying into the Likely hype after week 1 but he’s still really good, they just have another TE who’s also really good ahead of him (but is injury prone). That said, if there’s someone who lights it up on waivers I have no problem dropping one of them and/or trying to make a trade

I’m at 170 rn and still got Barkley tonight, team really fuckin ate this week lol

 

Oh I totally get your point and literally EVERY YEAR I punt on TE lol. It has never been a position I've prioritized since Gronk's prime because it leaves you waaaaay shorthanded on WR/RB and you need to really hit on those to compete. And some years you end up with Bishop Sankey as your RB2. But ugh, this year in the 6th round I was looking at Kincaid vs Amari Cooper/Keenan Allen/Tee Higgins and still feel "fine" with my choice as it hasn't killed me yet (2-0 and crushing it).

However, Bowers was there in like the 12th round and when it's a keeper league you need to try to hit on late round keepers. Bowers in the 12th vs gabe davis ... yeah I'm going the 2nd TE even if I hate rostering 2.

 

Feels good to have absolutely crushed my opponent and still have 1 guy (Devonta) remaining tonight. Run it up baby
